In most of my designs, some of my influences on my design are from nature and geometric shapes. The purpose of this design was to create a design for my Digital Imagery course at Lindenwood University. By looking around St. Charles, Missouri of whatever subject matter of our choice and take photographs of our subject matter. Then using these images to create a piece of work by using a grid system.
For inspiration, I went towards the shores by the Missouri river near Main Street St. Charles. As I was walking I came across huge pieces of driftwood. By using the grid system and the shape of arrows I wanted to capture the appearance of driftwood moving through the currents of the river where I originally found the driftwood.
